Streszczenie
Monograph consists of three chapters. In the first chapter the characteristics of hemp
fiber for the possibility of cropping in Eastern Poland were described. In the second chapter
the wide range of composites research carried out with shives filler and binder of different
modifications were shown. The study included the determination of the composition of
composite mixtures and evaluation of physico-mechanical properties of hardened material.
Laboratory studies were designed to identify the optimum composition of composite to
the practical application in clean and energy efficient buildings. In the third chapter
technological guidance in the implementation of energy efficient and clean buildings were
provided. The various stages of the building erection from the foundations to the roof
were described. Studies described in the monograph as well as the technology of buildings
erection can be helpful in a practical application for the purposes of design, as well as in the
performing of clean and energy efficient buildings.
