Od projektu do szwu. Zastosowanie AI w krawiectwie / From Design to Stitch: The Use of AI in Tailoring

Abstract

Praca dotyczy wykorzystania AI w pracowni krawieckiej. Celem opracowania było zbadanie poziomu wiedzy, postaw oraz barier wdrożenia sztucznej inteligencji wśród grupy 57 właścicieli małych i średnich pracowni krawieckich mających siedzibę na terenie województwa dolnośląskiego i lubuskiego. Badanie miało charakter pilotażowy i eksploracyjny, a dobór próby był celowy. Ważną kwestią w prowadzonych badaniach było zidentyfikowanie barier, korzyści oraz obszarów zastosowania AI w kontekście efektywności i konkurencyjności w krawiectwie. Autorka zastosowała metodę krytycznej analizy literatury przedmiotu i badania ankietowe przeprowadzone w III kwartale 2025 roku. W efekcie zdefiniowała aktualny stan branży, zmiany techniczne w krawiectwie i pracy krawca oraz potencjalne obszary zastosowania technologii AI w krawiectwie. Badane pracownie krawieckie są gotowe na wdrożenie sztucznej inteligencji – brakuje im wiedzy technologicznej i pierwszych doświadczeń. Najlepszą strategią są według badanych szkolenia połączone z prostymi wdrożeniami, które pokażą realne korzyści dla efektywności i konkurencyjności pracowni. Wyniki, chociaż mają wstępny charakter i wymagają potwierdzenia w szerszych badaniach, wskazują na duży potencjał łączenia tradycyjnego rzemiosła z technologiami cyfrowymi.

The study focuses on the use of AI in tailoring workshops. The aim of the study was to examine the level of knowledge, attitudes and barriers to the implementation of artificial intelligence among 57 owners of small and medium-sized tailoring workshops based in the Lower Silesia and Lubusz provinces. The study was pilot and exploratory in nature, and the sample was selected purposefully. A key focus of the research was to identify barriers, benefits and areas of application for AI in the context of efficiency and competitiveness in tailoring. The author employed a method of critical literature review and a questionnaire survey conducted in the third quarter of 2025. As a result, she defined the current state of the industry, technical changes in tailoring and the work of tailors, and potential areas of application for AI technology in tailoring. The tailoring workshops surveyed are ready to implement artificial intelligence – they lack technological knowledge and initial experience. According to the respondents, the best strategy involves training combined with simple implementations that demonstrate tangible benefits for the workshop’s efficiency and competitiveness. Although preliminary and requiring confirmation through broader research, the results point to significant potential in combining traditional craftsmanship with digital technologies.
