Fundamentalizm i ekstremizm jako podstawy terroryzmu islamskiego

Abstract

W artykule przedstawiono charakterystykę religii islamskiej. Następnie przybliżono problematykę fundamentalizmu oraz ekstremizmu religijnego. Ukazano różnice w postrzeganiu wartości wyznawców islamu oraz przedstawicieli świata Zachodu. Przedstawiono także motywację działania terrorystów islamskich. W zakończeniu podkreślono bezkompromisowość działań terrorystów islamskich, wynikających z interpretacji dogmatów religijnych. Wskazano na pogłębianie się różnic kulturowych oraz napięć społecznych na świecie.

The article presents the characteristics of the Islamic religion. Then, the issues of fundamentalism and religious extremism were discussed. The differences in the perception of the values of the followers of Islam and representatives of the Western world were shown. The motivation of the actions of Islamic terrorists was also presented. The conclusion emphasized the uncompromising nature of the actions of Islamic terrorists resulting from the interpretation of religious dogmas. It indicated the deepening of cultural differences and social tensions in the world.
