dc.description.abstract In this article is presented the new approach for design procedure for crack width calculation, received on the basis of experimentally-theoretical research of axiallyloaded reinforced concrete tensile elements. This new approach (calculation method) based on studying of the mechanism of interaction and internal forces redistribution between reinforcement and surrounding concrete. It was possible to establish laws of crack formation in reinforced concrete elements, to receive the equations to establish strain distributions of reinforcement and tension concrete on the length of an element and to receive an analytical equation for defi nition of the length of the strain redistribution zone for the various bonding conditions, to receive a relation for calculation of average crack width (wm). en
