Bezpieczeństwo militarne Polski we współczesnych uwarunkowaniach geopolitycznych Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej

Abstract

Bezpieczeństwo poszczególnych państw jest wielokrotnie uwarunkowane sytuacją w regionie. Dla Polski regionem wpływającym na sytuację geopolityczną jest obszar Europy Środkowo- Wschodniej. Wydarzenia w najbliższym sąsiedztwie wpływają na poczucie bezpieczeństwa, w tym na bezpieczeństwo militarne. Kilkunastoletnie działania polityczno-militarne Federacji Rosyjskiej, w tym reforma i modernizacja techniczna armii oraz użycie siły m.in. na terytorium Ukrainy powodują, że Polska podjęła zdecydowane działania poprawy swojego bezpieczeństwa narodowego poprzez zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa militarnego. Bezpieczeństwo militarne Polski jest realizowane dwutorowo. Pierwsze to realizacja reorganizacja struktur Sił Zbrojnych RP poprzez powiększanie stanu ilościowego oraz modernizacja techniczna poprzez zakup nowoczesnego sprzętu. Drugim elementem jest podjęcie współpracy z USA celem dyslokacji stałego komponentu armii amerykańskiej na terenie Polski, m.in. przeniesionego częściowo z Niemiec na wschodnią flankę NATO.

The security of individual countries is often conditioned by the situation in the region. For Poland, the region influencing the geopolitical situation is the area of Central and Eastern Europe. Events in the immediate vicinity affect the sense of security, including military security. Several years of political and military activities of the Russian Federation, including the reform and technical modernization of the army and the use of force, e.g. on the territory of Ukraine, cause Poland to take decisive measures to improve its national security by increasing its military security. Poland’s military security is implemented in two ways. The first is the reorganization of the structures of the Polish Armed Forces by increasing the quantity and technical modernization through the purchase of modern equipment. The second element is to cooperate with the USA in order to dislocate a permanent component of the American army in Poland, including partly transferred from Germany to NATO’s eastern flank.
