Streszczenie
Celem rozdziału było zbadanie poziomu wiedzy
kobiet z zakresu laktacji w zależności od
miejsca zamieszkania, ilości posiadanych
dzieci oraz źródeł, z których czerpały wiedzę
na ten temat. Materiał i metody. W rozdziale
zastosowano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego.
Narzędziem badawczym wykorzystanym
w rozdziale był autorski kwestionariusz
ankiety składający się z 15 pytań. Wyniki.
Wykazano istotne różnice w poziomie wiedzy
w zależności od wykształcenia (p=0,004)
i liczby dzieci (p=0,037). Miejsce zamieszkania
nie miało istotnego wpływu. Głównym
źródłem informacji był Internet, a kobiety korzystające z niego miały wyższy poziom
wiedzy. Wnioski. Stwierdzono brak wpływu
miejsca zamieszkania na poziom wiedzy
o laktacji co oznacza, że należy stosować
jednolite standardy edukacji laktacyjnej zarówno
wobec kobiet z obszarów miejskich,
jak i wiejskich. Stwierdzona istotność statystyczna
pomiędzy poziomem wykształcenia,
a wiedzą o laktacji wskazuje na potrzebę
działań edukacyjnych np. poprzez częstsze
wizyty laktacyjne. Niższy poziom wiedzy
u kobiet posiadających troje lub więcej
dzieci wskazuje, że edukacja powinna obejmować
także wieloródki, z uwzględnieniem
aktualnych zaleceń i ewentualnej korekty
utrwalonych, nieprawidłowych nawyków.
Aim of the chapter was to examine the level of women’s knowledge about lactation depending on place of residence, number of children, and the sources from which this knowledge was obtained. The chapter employed a diagnostic survey method. The research tool used was an original questionnaire consisting of 15 questions. Significant differences in the level of knowledge were demonstrated depending on education level (p = 0.004) and number of children (p = 0.037). Place of residence did not have a significant impact. The main source of information was the Internet, and women who used it had a higher level of knowledge. No influence of place of residence on the level of knowledge about lactation was found, which means that uniform standards of lactation education should be applied to both urban and rural women. The statistically significant relationship between education level and knowledge about lactation indicates the need for educational activities, for example through more frequent lactation visits. The lower level of knowledge among women with three or more children indicates that education should also include multiparous women, taking into account current recommendations and the possible correction of established, incorrect habits.
