Streszczenie
Zboża stanowią podstawę wyżywienia wielu
milionów ludzi na świecie oraz ważny surowiec
dla przemysłu, np. paszowego, spożywczego,
czy przetwórczego. W Polsce zboża
uprawiane są na około 70% powierzchni
użytków rolnych, a nasz kraj należy do czołowych
producentów zbóż w Unii Europejskiej.
Jednak pomimo dużego areału uprawy
zbóż, w ostatnich latach obserwuje się rosnący
import zbóż do Polski. Dlatego też celem
badań było poznanie opinii rolników na temat
importu zbóż do naszego kraju. W rozdziale
zastosowano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego,
narzędziem badawczym był anonimowy
kwestionariusz ankiety, skierowany do rolników,
zajmujących się produkcją roślinną. Wyniki
naszych badań jednoznacznie wskazują, że większość rolników odczuwa spadek cen
zbóż, a tym samym negatywny wpływ importu
na opłacalność produkcji, co z kolei niekorzystnie
wpływa na sytuację ekonomiczną
prowadzonych przez nich gospodarstw
rolnych. Szczególnie dotknięte są mniejsze
gospodarstwa, które nie mogą konkurować
z dużymi podmiotami (uprawiającymi zboża
na dużym areale), dysponującymi korzystniejszymi
warunkami zakupu środków produkcji
oraz cen zbytu surowca. Zdaniem respondentów
niezbędne jest przede wszystkim
wprowadzenie dodatkowych ceł na import
zbóż z państw spoza Unii Europejskiej oraz
zwiększenie kontroli jakości importowanych
zbóż do naszego kraju.
Cereals form the basis of nutrition for many millions of people worldwide and are an important raw material for industries such as feed, food and processing. In Poland, cereals are grown on about 70% of the agricultural area, and our country is one of the leading cereal producers in the European Union. However, despite the large area under cereal cultivation, in recent years there has been a growing import of cereals to Poland. Therefore, the aim of the chapter was to find out farmers’ opinions on cereal imports to our country. A diagnostic survey method was used in this study; the research tool was an anonymous survey questionnaire, addressed to farmers involved in crop production. The results of our research indicate that most farmers are affected by the drop in cereal prices and thus the negative impact of imports on the profitability of production, which in turn adversely affects the economic situation of their farms. Smaller farms are particularly affected, as they cannot compete with large entities (growing cereals on a large acreage), which have more favourable conditions for the purchase of inputs and prices for the disposal of raw material. According to the respondents, it is necessary, first, to introduce additional duties on the import of cereals from countries outside the European Union and to increase quality control of imported cereals to our country.
