Streszczenie
Prawidłowy rozwój dziecka zależy od potencjału
biologicznego i wpływu środowiska
kształtującego ten rozwój. Bodźce
pochodzące z własnego organizmu dziecka
lub bodźce zewnętrzne o różnym charakterze
(biologicznym, fizycznym, wyzwalającym
czy społecznym) rejestrowane i przetwarzane
przez układ nerwowy podlegają
samoregulacji i ukształtowaniu adekwatnej
odpowiedzi. Dlatego prawidłowa stymulacja
wszystkich zmysłów dziecka, uważne
obserwowanie objawów zaburzeń integracji
sensorycznej i wczesna interwencja - zapewniają
jego prawidłowy rozwój. Kluczową
odpowiedzialność za ten proces, także
za współpracę z pedagogami i terapeutami
ponoszą rodzice. Cel rozdziału: wskazanie
zakresu świadomego udziału rodziców
w procesie rozwoju integracji sensorycznej
ich dzieci oraz wskazanie deficytów w tym
obszarze. Materiał: wynik obserwacji 150
dzieci w wieku od 0 do 7 lat przez ich rodziców
i opiekunów (n=87). Metoda: sondaż
diagnostyczny (technika: kwestionariusz
ankiety, kwestionariusz integracji sensorycznej
(SI wg. Małgorzaty Karga), analiza
ilościowa i jakościowa z wykorzystaniem
testu chi-kwadrat przy p≤0,05. Wyniki: styl życia ok. 50% matek badanych dzieci budził
zastrzeżenia. Ponad połowa ciąż miała powikłania,
mimo to większość porodów przebiegła
naturalnie i bez komplikacji. Wszystkie
noworodki oceniono wysoko w skali
Apgar (9,14±1,31). Rodzice ocenili rozwój
psychoruchowy dzieci jako mieszczący się
w normach rozwojowych, mimo że wg.
kwestionariusza SI zarejestrowano opóźnienia
w osiąganiu „kamieni milowych”.
Ocena tym narzędziem wykazała zaburzenia
rozwojowe u 22,66% badanych dzieci.
Wnioski: blisko co 3-4. dziecko ma opóźnienia
w „krokach milowych”, co drugie demonstruje
zaburzone zachowania ruchowe,
wykazano istotny związek stylu życia matek
i przebiegu okresu noworodkowego z występowaniem
zaburzeń integracji sensorycznej.
Rodzice nie wykorzystali wszystkich
sposobów stymulacji rozwoju ruchowego
dzieci i nie wszystkie dzieci konsultowali
z fizjoterapeutą (co trzecie dziecko nie uzyskało
wsparcia specjalisty).
The proper development of a child depends on biological potential and the influence of the environment shaping this development. Stimuli originating from the child’s own body or various types of external stimuli (biological, physical, triggering or social) recorded and processed by the nervous system are subject to self-regulation and the formation of an appropriate response. Therefore, proper stimulation of all the child’s senses, careful observation of symptoms of sensory integration disorders and early intervention ensure the proper development of the child. Parents bear the key responsibility for this process, including cooperation with educators and therapists. Aim of the chapter: to indicate the degree of conscious participation of parents in the process of sensory integration development of their children and to identify deficits in this area. Material: results of observations of 150 children aged 0 to 7 years conducted by their parents and carers (n=87). Method: diagnostic survey (technique: questionnaire, sensory integration questionnaire (SI according to Małgorzata Karga), quantitative and qualitative analysis using the chi-square test at p≤0.05. Results: the lifestyle of approximately 50% of the mothers of the children studied raised concerns. More than half of the pregnancies were complicated, but most births were natural and without complications. All newborns scored high on the Apgar scale (9.14±1.31). Parents assessed their children’s psychomotor development as within the developmental norms, even though the SI questionnaire noted delays in reaching ‘milestones’. Assessment using this tool revealed developmental disorders in 22.66% of the children studied. Conclusions: almost every third or fourth child has delays in reaching milestones, every second child shows motor disorders, and a significant relationship was found between the mothers’ lifestyle and the course of the neonatal period and the occurrence of sensory integration disorders. Parents did not use all methods of stimulating their children’s motor development and did not consult a physiotherapist for all children (one in three children did not receive specialist support).
