Abstract

Streszczenie: Kompetencje, są niezbędnym zasobem jednostki, których rozwój jest szczególnie istotny w dobie dokonujących się przemian we współczesnym świecie. Kreująca się rzeczywistość stawia przed człowiekiem liczne wyzwania życiowe i zawodowe, których to rozwiązanie może wpłynąć na trajektorię życiową jednostki. Materiał i metody: Artykuł ma charakter przeglądowy. Wyniki: Omówiono w nim kwestię kompetencji, które stanowią niezbędny zasób jednostki do skutecznego funkcjonowania w świecie płynnej nowoczesności. W pracy, autor odniósł się do miejsca socjalizacji wtórnej – szkoły, a także barier, jakie pojawiają się względem nabywania i rozwoju kompetencji. Wnioski: Szczególnie ważnym punktem odniesienia stanowi młodzież szkół średnich, która znajduje się w tranzycji pomiędzy systemem edukacyjnym a rynkiem pracy.

Summary: Competences are an indispensable resource of an individual, the development of which is particularly important in the era of changes taking place in the modern world. The developing reality poses many life and professional challenges, the solution of which may affect the life trajectory of an individual. Material and methods: The article is a review. Results: It discusses the issue of competences, which constitute an indispensable resource of an individual to function effectively in the world of liquid modernity. In the work, the author referred to the place of secondary socialization – school, as well as the barriers that appear in relation to the acquisition and development of competences. Conclusions: A particularly important point of reference is the youth of secondary schools who are in transition between the education system and the labor market.
